Welcome back preschool and kindergarten! We’re glad you’re here!

First Grade Families, Due to the changing of schedules, next week's STEM classes will both be asynchronous, so we will not meet for class. I have posted a scavenger hunt and a flashlight investigation in the STEM Google Classroom for next week. For the flashlight activity, students will need the following materials: -1 clear plastic bag -1 spoon - 1 fork - 1 piece of paper - scotch tape - 1 cup or bowl -1 tissue - flashlight Thank you and have a great weekend! Kindergarten Parents, Due to the changing of schedules, all STEM Classes for next week will be asynchronous, so we will not meet next week. I have posted a fun "bowling" investigation in Google Classroom, as well as an online Pushes and Pulls Tic Tac Toe game. For this activity, students will need the following materials: 6 plastic water/pop bottles or empty toilet paper rolls or anything you can think of that could be used as "pins.", 1 ball Have a great week and email me with any questions! Please note a change in our meal pick up time! Meal pick up is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15th from 1:00 to 1:30 pm at the District Office (Door #2) on Villa Avenue. Please wear a mask when you pick up your meals. Just a reminder that we are part of the Summer Food Service Program. This means that any student can have free combo meals.

If childcare during Hybrid Learning is a concern, please check out the LEAP Program from the OBT Park District. It is a great option for families and is open to Kinder - 8th grade students.

Parents, just a reminder, if your preference for eLearning or hybrid model has changed from your initial feedback, please contact your child’s school office by tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9th. If no change is needed, you do not need to contact the office. Thank you!

Did you know our school libraries are open for business? Use our online library catalog available through https://www.saltcreek48.org/page/lmc and our staff will prepare books for you to pick up, contactless, at the front of your child's school. Vikings love reading!

Salt Creek Primary School is conducting a developmental screening for children ages 3-5 on September 10th. This screening is free and will provide you general information about your child’s development. This opportunity is open to all district families, even if your preschool plans are undecided. Check out the attached flyer for more information!

Reminder: Meal pick up is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st from 10:00-10:45 at the District Office entrance of Albright Middle School. This is the South door on Villa Avenue. Please wear a mask! See you then!
