We can't wait to see you & your middle schoolers tonight at Albright 's Curriculum Night! We will start at 6:30pm in the gym, so please park on the blacktop lot off of Myrtle Ave. and enter through the side gym doors (#7 and #8). Doors will open at 6:20pm. See you soon!

Keeping students hydrated for their commute home today. Luckily temps will be back to a manageable range tomorrow for soccer and volleyball tryouts. ❤️🖤

AMS Curriculum Night is just two days away, this Thursday, August 29th from 6:30-8:00. We have created a new flow to our night and look forward to hosting both parents and students. Follow this link for a flyer with more details: https://tinyurl.com/ea2babs7

Due to an excessive heat warning scheduled for tomorrow, soccer tryouts will be rescheduled for Wednesday, August 28th and Thursday, August 29th (2:40-4:30pm). Please ensure permission slips get turned in to the PE office. Email Mr. Lewicki at alewicki@saltcreek48.org with any questions.

Our Salt Creek District 48 administrative team will be watching the upcoming weather closely to decide if we need to move recess and outdoor activities indoors due to the upcoming heat. Please remember to send students with water bottles and have them dress in layers as it can get cold indoors with our air conditioning. If you have any questions, feel free to call our school offices.
Sincerely,
Salt Creek 48

It was so great seeing everyone at Albright's Meet the Teacher event and we can't wait to welcome our Vikings back to school tomorrow!

Albright Middle School will be open for our Meet the Teacher event from 1-2pm this Tuesday, 8/20. During this time, students will get their lock/lockers, put supplies away, meet teachers, walk their schedule, and purchase PE shirts and shorts as needed. Please bring their schedule for this event. Park on our blacktop lot off Myrtle Ave. and enter through our activity entrance at door 4 (by the soccer field).
You will start by heading to your child’s Anchor classroom for 6th - 8th graders and homeroom for 5th graders. This teacher will provide their lock and locker for supply drop off. You can arrive anytime during this hour, and we look forward to seeing everyone! If you cannot make this event, students can bring their supplies on Wednesday.
Go Vikings!

Albright's first ever 5th Grade Kick-Off event was amazing today. Thank you to our parents for helping us have almost perfect attendance. Mrs. Pastore and Mrs. Vargas planned a fun-filled day of learning and getting acclimated to our school. By the end of the event, students masted a scavenger hunt around the building and were able to open their locker locks independently.

Albright Middle School schedules have gone out in the mail, so keep an eye out. We will reopen Skyward access on Monday for online viewing, too. Our welcome back letter includes a lot of information and can be viewed here: https://5il.co/2t7z0
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at 630-279-6160. We can't wait to see everyone soon!!!

We are holding out and hoping for the best with the weather for tonight's graduation ceremony. Despite the current situation, the weather should be clearing up. The gym is ready to go in case we need to pivot quickly, but we are planning on an outdoor ceremony. Please remember your tickets to enter the ceremony and to get your bundt cake afterward. You will also want to bring your graduate's ticket for their Kona Ice, their cap, gown, and ribbon. Please keep their cellphone with you, as they should not bring them to the ceremony. Students should be dropped off by 6:15pm, but no sooner than 6:00pm. We cannot wait to see you all tonight to celebrate the Class of 2024!
