Sixth grade scientists try out a Kagan Structure called, Match Mine! to study ornithology and biodiversity of birds. This is a kickoff activity for our life science unit.
Can you spot the similarities and differences in the birds? Sixth graders did a great job of describing traits to match each other's work.

Mrs. Specht's 6th grade social studies class created skits to learn about ancient Egypt's social class structure. One skit showed the many steps of the embalming process priests had to carry out to prepare the mummy for burial.

Students are playing a Gimkit to review 60 words of the day in Mrs. Specht's 7th grade literature class! Not only do they need to know the meanings of the words, but they also have to use strategies in order to win the gold medal!
