Hello Albright/Swartz Families,
We are currently experiencing a power outage at both of these schools. We are going to run the school day as normal. We have access to plumbing, normal food/lunch service, and our emergency lighting is on.
COMED has estimated that power will resume at about 10:15 am so please stay tuned to your email for updates.
The phones at both schools are currently not working.
Thank you,
Jake Chung

Salt Creek School District 48 conducts a free developmental screening of preschool-aged children (ages 3 to 5, not yet enrolled in kindergarten). This screening is open to all preschool-aged students who live in District boundaries, regardless of future preschool plans. Screenings are conducted at Salt Creek Primary School, 980 S. Riverside Dr. in Elmhurst. Appointments are necessary and can be made by calling the school’s office at 630-832-6122.
Screening appointments are available for August 30th, September 27, November 1, January 10, March 13, and May 22.
The screening process helps identify how your son/daughter is currently developing and is also the first step in registering your son/daughter in our preschool program. Assessed areas include: speech and language, large and small muscle groups and social/emotional development. It is conducted by professional school staff in a variety of pleasant playroom situations and takes about one hour to complete.
If you have any questions regarding screening for children under 3 years old, please contact Child & Family Connections at 331-481-4263.
Albright Middle School Vikings, we are only a week away. Here is a video we made for you. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/_rF_gfWQJME

If your student currently has medication at school it needs to be picked up before the end of school. We will not be able to keep it in the nurse's office through the summer. New blank medication permission forms, asthma action plans and allergy plans will be sent home at the end of school. Please make sure you get these filled out over the summer for the 2019-2020 school year.
