Stop by and join the fun! Don't know much about Pokémon? Come join the fun anyway! Show off your cards, trade with friends or just come and see what all the excitement is about.
Make a Pokémon craft, go on a scavenger hunt, trade cards, learn about Pokémon, have Pokémon snacks and hang out with friends!! All district families are welcome!

Fall Fest is at Albright Middle School on Saturday, October 14, 9:30 AM - 12 PM. Please join FTC for a fun filled fall themed morning! We will have carnival games, crafts, Trunk or Treat and a bake sale! There is a $5 admission for kids, adults are free!
We are currently looking for district families to sign up to bring an item to our bake sale, decorate your car for Trunk or Treat and volunteers to help run games at Fall Fest. Sign up here --> https://saltcreek48ftc.membershiptoolkit.com/volun.../117545
If you plan to bring an item for the bake sale, please individually wrap items and mark them if the item is nut free, gluten, free, etc. Items will be priced at $2, so please plan accordingly when packaging.

Ms. Baker's class earned a school prize drop for getting multiple compliments for walking quietly in the hall! Everyone filled the halls for a DANCE PARTY this morning!

Elmhurst Fire Department visited Salt Creek this morning to give a fire safety presentation to our students. Tomorrow they will be back to complete the building fire inspection and supervise an Evacuation Drill.

Reminder: District #48 Parents, There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 9th in Observance of Columbus Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 10th.
Mrs. Lindeen's Kindergarten class earned a school prize drop today for cleaning up in STEM and for having a great morning of learning! Our prize drop landed on HAT DAY! Tomorrow, 10/5, all students can come to school wearing their favorite hat! Way to go Little Vikings!
Another successful Pokémon night! Students traded cards, did crafts, got tattoos and watched Pokémon on the big screen. Big thanks to FTC for sponsoring this event! Special thanks to Mrs. Tacadena for coordinating the event.

The Believe Kids Fundraiser packets went home with your child this week! There are a lot of nice items in the catalog that can be used as holiday gifts - or as a gift for yourself! Also a ton of wrapping paper to stock up for the holidays! A percentage of all sales goes to FTC, which will be given to the school for teacher requests, school parties and dances. This is the only fundraiser we are going to do before the holidays. A couple of things to note:

Miss Kerrigan/Mrs.Clancy's 1st Grade class earned a school prize drop today for receiving multiple compliments in the hall! They landed on a "Drop and Draw" break for the whole school! Way to go Little Vikings!
Mrs. Guidice's 1st Grade class earned a school prize drop today for walking to specials at a level zero voice! Two different teachers complimented them! Our prize drop landed on Tattoo Fun! All students will be coming home with a temporary tattoo today. Way to go Little Vikings!

Mrs. O's Kindergarten class earned a school prize drop today! Our drop landed on Pajama Day! Tomorrow 9/15 - ALL SALT CREEK PRIMARY STUDENTS (PK-1) can wear pajamas to school!

"Everything is Awesome" at Salt Creek Primary! We had our first prize drop of the school year! Mrs. Lindeen's class earned a prize drop for packing up at a level 0 volume yesterday. We did a prize drop today and it landed on DANCE PARTY! Fun was had by all. (Staff included!)
