Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! Classes will resume on Monday, December 1st.

We’re excited to share some news from the 2025 Illinois State Report Card! All three of our Salt Creek District 48 schools showed outstanding growth and achievement in Reading and Math this year—proof that our students, staff, and families are working together to achieve great things.
A special congratulations goes to Albright Middle School, which earned an Exemplary designation, placing it among the top 10% of schools in Illinois!
These accomplishments are a direct reflection of the hard work and dedication of our teachers, the perseverance of our students, and the strong support of our families. Together, we’re building on our success and living out this year’s theme: Stronger Than Ever — with a New Foundation 🧱, Same Heart 🩵, and Bigger Purpose💡.

With the beginning of the year quickly approaching, I wanted to take a quick moment to check in and say how much we are looking forward to seeing everyone.
Now, the big question on everyone's mind is: Will we start school on time? The answer is YES! Crews are working hard to get everything in order, and we will be ready to welcome students back on Wednesday, August 27th.
Later this week, you will receive the official Welcome Back letter with updated procedures and your student's schedule.
If there is anything I can assist with, please don't hesitate to reach out at kmarino@saltcreek48.org.
See you soon!
