Our first community engagement session around the book The Anxious Generation introduced the author and generated meaningful conversations between participants! It was an engaging and impactful evening.

The first meeting of the SD48 community book study is just over two weeks away, on Wednesday, October 2nd! We hope you can join us for this FREE event where we will introduce the book, The Anxious Generation, and start the conversation around how we can help our children thrive in today's world.

This is just a reminder that Thursday, September 5th is Curriculum Night at Stella May Swartz. This event is from 6:30- 7:35PM. The purpose of Curriculum Night is to provide parents an overview of our curriculum and give them a chance to meet all of the Teachers and Specialists their children will be working with. Our Salt Creek District 48 administrative team will be watching the upcoming weather closely to decide if we need to move recess and outdoor activities indoors due to the upcoming heat. Please remember to send students with water bottles and have them dress in layers as it can get cold indoors with our air conditioning.
