Swartz students had a fun afternoon celebrating at their Fall and Halloween Parties! Thank you to all of the parents who came to the parade, volunteered in classrooms, and donated supplies and snacks. The students had a wonderful time!
Lifetouch pictures have arrived for Swartz students and will be sent home today. We will keep picture retakes on Wednesday, November 6th. If you choose to take retakes please return your original photos with your student on this day.

TRICK OR TREAT
Halloween is almost here! Remember that students are to bring their costumes with them to school on Thursday morning. We do not allow students to come to school with weapons, colored hair, make-up or parts of their costumes on. Please note the specific times to Trick or Treat in your area:

WHITE CANE DAY
Tuesday, October 15th, is "White Cane Day". This date is set aside to celebrate the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired and the important symbol of blindness and tool of independence…the white cane! We will celebrate at Swartz this Thursday with activities to help increase awareness of this "symbol of independence".
