Reminder that on Tuesday, January 31st we will have a half day in our district. Dismissal times are as follows for each building: Stella May Swartz 10:40AM, Salt Creek 10:50AM & Albright Middle 10:53AM.

This is just a reminder friendly that there is Homework Club, 2nd grade Kids Care Club and 3rd grade Earth Savers Club today after school at Swartz. If you are picking up your student after club please at Swartz at 3:25 promptly. Park in the west side lot by gym doors (playground side). Thank you.
Dear Swartz and Salt Creek Families,
Friday, 12/23, will be an eLearning day for Salt Creek and Swartz students. PreK teachers will email work and videos to parents. K-4 students will log into their Google Classroom and click on "Join" to virtually join their class at 8:00 am. Students will attend classes virtually until 11:00 and have lunch until noon. In the afternoon, please have your child go to the "Specials" teachers' Google Classroom to choose from various activities.
All teachers are available for questions via email. If you have any questions, please call the school offices as we receive emails and can retrieve phone messages. If your child will not be attending virtually, please call the office.

On Friday, 12/16, Swartz Students will have Pajama Day and a Movie! Students earned this activity by collectively turning in 13 pounds of Viking Pride Slips. So proud of our Swartz Students!
Congratulations to Sofia, the winner of the Hilton Holiday Card Contest. Her artwork will be mailed to all the Hilton's customers. Big thanks to Mr. Flowers and Ms. Hayes for their partnership with us. We appreciate this 18 year relationship. We are so proud of Sofia!

We are so proud of our Swartz Students! They have collectively turned in 13 pounds of Viking Pride Slips! We gave the Pride Wheel a spin and students earned PJs and a Movie! Date is TBD.
We did a Quick Spin at Swartz on Friday in honor of students in Ms. Oyen's class who have been a great model of going above and beyond! All students earned a sticker that will go home with them today!
There will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 8th due to Election Day for District 48.
Congrats to our winner and runner up for the Pickles calendar drawing contents with the Oakbrook Terrace Police Department. Lyla our runner up and Samantha our winner both in 4th grade from Mrs. Noll's class at Swartz school. We are very proud of them and all of our students for participating in the contest. They all did an amazing job!
Today our Swartz students enjoyed a pizza lunch with friends and music for turning in 9 lbs. of Viking Pride Slips. All students ate together, picnic style, in the gym before recess. We are so proud of them!
