Here are some great suggestions for parents during e-learning days:
- If possible, set up a designated place for students to do their school work. This should be away from electronics and other distractions.
- Students should create their own schedule for the day. (We discussed how students may be helping out more at home during this time, so the schedule should reflect when they are able to successfully work on assignments.)
- Write out the schedule, then you'll be more likely to follow it.
- Start with your favorite class or assignment. This will help motivate students to start their day.
- Don't forget to include break time for a quick energy boost. This should include a snack and some movement.
Today, until 2:15pm, is the last day for pickup of work/items at all schools. For the safety of all, only parents (no children) picking up meals from 10am-12pm should visit moving forward. This is offered M-F for the next 2 weeks. School work will be available outside each school. Please call your school if there is an immediate need.

Be healthy and safe,

We know that days off of school can be hard on kids and families. We recommend following a schedule each day to keep a routine in place. Here is one idea from Khan Academy: https://tinyurl.com/wz6u7fz
Good morning parents! Please let your children know that their Chromebooks are set to only work from 8am until 10pm Monday through Friday. Many of them have been emailing that they are not working, but this is why. Our tech team has been hesitant to send devices home, so we agreed on school day access only. Thank you for your understanding. On Monday our teachers will be creating and sharing out our e-learning plan. If you do not have internet access please email or call me so we can give you another option.
Sincerely,
Ms. Aulisa
